I think from the cover image you can guess that this week has a strong theme, and it's animals. A wide range of animals, a wide range of interiors, and as always, the best range of prices.
Giraffe Glow:
Wall lights fell out of favor in the 2000s, but they are back with a vengeance. This resurgence is probably due to the technology of rechargeable bulbs, meaning you can pop the light straight on your wall without the hassle and mess of wiring it in. This giraffe head is a fun and statement-making light that would look amazing on either side of a brass mirror, pictures, or to light up an alcove. This one is from interior independents Graham & Green and is still quite affordable at £140.00.
There are a couple of save options. The best and closest in look is the Sophie wall light from Lightbox for £87.00. I am pretty sure this is the same light, so it's definitely a bargain. The other option is from JD Williams for £40.00 (currently with an extra 25% off with code SUMMR, making it £30.00). This option is slightly bigger in size, with a little less detail, and most noticeably comes with a black shade. However, that might work in your decor’s favour.

Two Tigers:
House of Hackney is a luxury mainstay of the 2010s, with their collection of iconic wallpapers and accessories, not least their Saber tiger cushion. They truly are the definition of a splurge treat to yourself as they are iconic and make a bold statement, but they are still a purchase to be pondered at £245.00 each.
Singer and actress Paloma Faith launched her Paloma Home collection back in 2021, infusing both Paloma’s love for interiors and vintage style. This collection provided an affordable alternative with her Tibetan Tiger cushion, which is currently on sale at Charmed Interiors for just £24.00, including a FEATHER inner (I put feather in capitals because, for me, feather brings so much more luxury to a cushion).

Light Mice:
Back to lighting and another iconic brand, Seletti, famed for their animal lamps, with their Monkey Lamps becoming global icons. However, they also have lamps in the form of elephants, lizards, songbirds, crows, and mice. I have their little white mouse in the kitchen, but I am drawn to this new gold collection. The standing mouse will cost you £86.00.
With every icon, there is an alternative, and in this case, there are two really good ones. The first is from independent ‘The House of Bloc,’ which has a similar standing mouse for just £29.00. Global giant Amazon also offers a save option for £19.99.

Tiger Underfoot:
Look at me squeezing in a bonus fourth item this week. But how could I miss this one when it’s such a good buy for a playhouse or playroom? The Doing Goods tiger rug has been in many homes over the last few years. This is the one time, though, I would actively promote the splurge item more. Why? Well, each item from Doing Goods is 100% handcrafted, with the company also giving back to communities by providing all of the craftspeople involved with a safe space to work and a fair wage. So, £159.00 for a handmade rug really is a bit of a save, considering the work.
La Redoute offers a slightly more affordable option, but in a snow tiger colorway for £96.00. Then there is Urban Outfitters, who offer a similar and quite thin version of this, which they market as a bathmat for £35.00.
