Merry Christmas

And a huge thank you!

We’re all firmly in the eye of the storm before the Christmas festivities begin, and I’m fairly certain we’re also collectively spent, emotionally, socially and financially, so I won’t tempt you.

I’ll be back in the new year.
(Although… possibly before, with some sneaky Boxing Day sale finds. Consider yourselves warned.)

What I really wanted to do was say a massive Merry Christmas, and an even bigger thank you for your support on Substack this year. It honestly means more than I can put into words.

It hasn’t been the easiest year, and if I’m being completely honest, there were moments where I felt like I lost my sparkle and passion a little, after losing Grandma. Showing up every week didn’t always come easily, but you kept showing up for me, and I’m so grateful for that. Thank you for sticking with me week after week (even if I did miss one… or, you know, briefly pretend it didn’t happen).

I hope you have the loveliest Christmas, however you’re spending it, with family, friends, working, or taking a quiet day to yourself with good food and excellent Christmas telly. However it looks, I hope it’s gentle, cosy, and exactly what you need.
