Hello, lovely people! This week’s Love List is all about those perfect little treats for you and your home that won’t break the bank, but will definitely give you a lift — a lovely shot of dopamine whenever you spot or use them. Let’s dive into some absolute gems, all under £10!
Søstrene Grenes:
First up, I have to talk about Søstrene Grene — a total treasure trove for pretty, practical pieces.
The Birthday Cake Candleholder (£4.62) is one of those small, joyful details that make any celebration feel extra special. I’m a sucker for anything that adds a bit of whimsy to a tablescape — and this one doesn’t just work for birthdays. It’s perfect for picnics or al fresco outings too, especially if (like me) everyone’s on a health kick and real cake is nowhere to be seen — hello, Hen Do body prep!

Next up is the Stoneware Vase (£6.44), which I absolutely love for its organic, rustic shape. It feels so on-trend — very Neptune-esque, but without the hefty price tag. Pop in a single bloom or a few sprigs of greenery and it looks instantly chic.
And then there’s the Soap Dispenser (£5.64). The kitschy printed design is right up my street, and the brass-coloured pump is a real win too — those warm metallics always feel a bit more luxe. It’s such a lovely, affordable way to add a touch of style to your bathroom or kitchen and proves you don’t have to spend a fortune to make a space feel considered and put-together.

John Lewis:
John Lewis always delivers on stylish basics, and their under-£10 buys this week are absolute winners.
The Block Stripe Square Cushion (£5.00, on sale) is such a fun way to add a pop of colour and pattern — it feels playful yet chic and would look fab on an outdoor bench, sofa, or even at the dining table. Yes, it’s not waterproof, but let’s face it, we all still do the mad dash outside even with the waterproof ones too, don’t we? And a little water here and there never hurt anyone!

Next up, the Beaded Flower Napkin Rings (set of 4 for £3.50) — I know, I always go on about napkin rings, but these are too good to miss. They’re the sweetest way to dress up a dinner table, bringing that handmade, bohemian craft feel that’s so on-trend at the moment. Plus, they’re a total bargain for a set of four.
And if you like your drinks looking as good as they taste, you’ll love these Candy Stripe Coupe Glasses (£6.00). They’re bright, cheerful and perfect for summer spritzes, desserts, or even mocktails — absolute pure joy in glassware form.

Matalan:
Matalan is always a great go-to for affordable homeware, and this week’s picks don’t disappoint.
The Scalloped Basket (£10.00) is so on-trend with its pretty, shaped edges — I can already picture it full of fruit on the kitchen counter. I actually have the matching tray from a couple of years ago and it’s held up beautifully, so I know this will wear really well too.

Next up is this sweet Bee Food Cover (£6.40) — perfect for summer alfresco lunches. It’s practical, sure, but also has that lovely vintage garden-party feel I adore. (I think I’ve mentioned these before — I just can’t help myself!) I picked up the lemon version last year and it’s one of my summer staples.
And finally, the Natural Plastic Woven Wall Planter (£9.60). I’ve used these little hanging bucket planters before — we had them in raw tin at Dave’s old house and in bright colours at our holiday let — but I love this neutral version most of all. The organic weave would fit into any space and add that lovely bit of texture and warmth.

Costmetics:
For a quick beauty boost, these are some affordable treats I’ve tried and tested — and they really do the job beautifully.
First up is the L’Oréal Bright Reveal SPF 50 (£9.89) — an absolute bargain for daily sun protection that also keeps your skin looking radiant. SPF is a non-negotiable in my routine, and this one feels lovely. It comes in Pearl or Bronze — I opted for Pearl for a gorgeous dewy finish and a subtle tinted glow. I even spotted this in my makeup-snobby friends make up bag, so that’s a serious endorsement!

I also can’t get enough of the L’Oréal Lumi Glotion (£9.59) — this is sunshine in a tube. It’s perfect for creating that no-makeup glow that’s been so big this year — and yes, it looks amazing on men too. Think of it as a more affordable alternative to Charlotte Tilbury’s Wonderglow, and you’ll know why it’s become a staple in my kit.
And if you want a gorgeous tan without the sun damage, then look no further than the Tanya Whitebits Self-Tan Mousse. I’ve been raving about this one for years, and it’s honestly the only self-tan I’ve used for the past five years. It gives you the most natural, streak-free colour and even comes in a Travel-Size Mousse (£5.99) — ideal for your weekend bag or for topping up your glow while you’re away. Even better, you can use my code JACK20 to knock it down to just £4.79. I usually go for Medium if I’m leaving it on overnight for a deeper colour, or the Rapid Dark version if I want a quick post-work tan and rinse off before bed — this one develops into a lovely medium shade in just 5–6 hours.

H&M Home:
H&M Home is a firm favourite on my Love List for stylish bits at purse-friendly prices.
Their Striped Plant Pot & Saucer is one you all loved — and it’s now reduced to £7.00. It’s so chic and sunny, perfect for bringing a bit of that Parisian stripe to your windowsill or garden. Plus, with the matching saucer, you don’t have to worry about water spillages or carrying your plants to the sink — a very practical touch that still looks lovely.

I also adore the Glass & Gold Stem Vase, which I know I’ve mentioned before, but it’s currently in the sale at £5.00. Its simple, elegant shape is perfect for showing off a single garden rose, a few dried grasses, or even just standing empty as a sculptural piece.
And last but not least, this Slub-Weave Cushion Cover (£9.99) is such a gorgeous colour — the fabric looks far more premium than the price suggests. The subtle texture of the slub weave adds instant softness and interest, making it a super-easy and affordable way to give your sofa or bed a seasonal refresh.

T.K. MAXX Home:
And last up, my perennial favourite bargain-hunting haunt — T.K. Maxx.
Their Dark Blue Splatter Ceramic Salt Pig (£7.99) is full of rustic charm and so practical for keeping your sea salt handy while you cook. It also reminds me of the hugely popular — and now discontinued — Emma Bridgewater Blue Splatter print, so it’s a lovely little nod to that design if you’re a fellow collector.

The White Wave Photo Frame (£7.99) is another timeless bargain — it looks so much more expensive than it is, with that soft wavy edge that’s so on-trend this year. Pop in a favourite photo and it’ll add a subtle touch of style to any mantle or shelf.
And for a little beauty treat, I’ve been using the HiSmile Colour Corrector (£8.00) for a while now. Full disclosure — I do also whiten my teeth with solution from my dentist — but this is a brilliant top-up for neutralising any yellow tones, just like using purple shampoo on blonde hair. Plus, it’s perfect for popping in your travel bag for summer trips.

And that’s this week’s Love List — a gorgeous mix of affordable little finds to make your home (and yourself!) feel that bit more special. Let me know which ones you’re loving most, and don’t forget to like, comment, or pass this along to a friend who could do with a midweek pick-me-up too. See you next time for more lovely things! ✨
Lovely selection Jack I’ll be off having a mooch ❤️
