Last week, while browsing Easter and spring décor, I stumbled across so many beautiful finds at Marks & Spencer that I had to give them their own showcase—so let’s dive in!
Loveable Lamps:
First up is lighting, because we all know that nobody actually puts the big light on, do they? We are a nation of lamp lovers, and I spotted some gorgeous finds. The Ollie striped lamp with matching shade has gone into the sale for £47.00. I bought two of these for either end of my bar in the lounge, and when I first shared them, you all loved them—so it would be rude not to share the discount! I’ve been so happy with these; they give off a great light and have so much character, both lit and unlit.

I also spotted a cylindrical rattan table lamp with a little scalloped edge. I’m currently planning to redo my bedroom and think these would make such a statement piece while still feeling calm and serene. Plus, as we all know, I love a scallop—I feel like I say that every week! Maybe we need to form some kind of Scalloped Edge Anonymous group.

Beautiful Bowls:
Whether it’s serving bowls or fruit bowls, Marks & Spencer has some lovely options. The seagrass footed fruit bowl in rattan is so on trend right now. I’ve seen similar pieces from a few other retailers, but at £20, this is one of the best I’ve found. I’m also a massive lover of cabbage ware, which we covered in a previous blog. This ceramic style originated in Portugal and became famous among the Hamptons set in the US. M&S has a few pieces in the collection, but the serving bowl for £15 is a standout—perfect for a lunch date special. I’m imagining it overflowing with salad and bright cherry tomatoes at every summer barbecue.

They also have a huge range of floral-themed tableware this season, in both white and pink. My favourite is the daisy serving bowl in white. At first glance, it looks like just a pretty textured bowl, but underneath, there’s a whimsical hidden flower centre—a little surprise beneath your salad.

Picnic Perfect:
s it too early to start thinking about picnics? Never! I have a secret obsession with picnicware—I hardly ever go on picnics, but I like to be prepared. Show me a picnic basket, and you know I’m going to judge the plates (so many are just plain white!). This melamine boho collection reminds me of vintage barge ware, heavily adorned with that signature hand-painted Bohemian style. A set of plates for £15.00 and a set of bowls for £12.00 are such an affordable way to elevate your picnic setup.

Not from the same collection, but tying in beautifully with the colours, are the rounded acrylic picnic tumblers. A set of four costs just £8, so now there’s no excuse not to be picnic-ready.

Cute Cushions:
No retail roundup would be complete without cushions! First, let’s address the elephant in the room—scallops. But in my defence, coral and blue is one of my favourite colour combinations. It features in our master bedroom, spare room, and family bathroom, and I just love these two colours together. This embroidered coral and blue cushion for £19.50 looks so much more expensive than it is.

For a different shape, the leaf and striped bolster cushion is a beauty—the soft pastel blue and sage green complement each other so well. The reverse is striped in the same fabric as the ruffle, meaning you can style it two ways. Lastly, this heavily jacquard embroidered cushion is rich in texture and comes in both blue and red on a green background. It leans into the ever-popular red theory and again, feels far more high-end than its price point suggests.

Top Tableware:
I’m currently on a dinner service ban in our house (yes, really), but these pieces caught my eye. The floral side plates are so dainty, they look like they could have been picked up in a Cotswold antique shop or a French brocante. It’s just a shame they don’t have matching dinner plates, because a full set would be truly stunning. However, for fellow plate wall fans, I think the set of four would look great displayed in a grid.

I may have missed the boat with these heart-shaped wine glasses, since Valentine’s was last month, but I love the kitsch, camp feel of them. They’re perfect for date nights, girls’ get-togethers, or even stocking up for next year before they sell out. The rattan placemats instantly remind me of my grandmother’s—they scream 1970s nostalgia. The warm, wheaty-orange tone works perfectly with the deep, rich jewel-toned green edging. They are on the pricier side at £15,00 for two, meaning a table of six would cost £45.00, but if they’re sturdy and well-made, they’ll be a great investment for future table settings.

Fashion Faves:
’m keeping an eye on Marks & Spencer’s spring/summer collection after their strong autumn/winter range. I’ve never really been an M&S shopper for clothes, but both Dave and I loved what they did for autumn/winter 2024-2025. The double-breasted linen blazer is right up my street—double-breasted styles really suit me, and I own several blazers in this cut. I’m always on the lookout for lightweight suits for the races and weddings, and this is a strong contender. The striped knitted T-shirt for £20.00 was a great buy. I actually purchased it for my cruise last week, and I can confirm it’s super comfy and washes really well.

If you’ve ever watched my Instagram stories, you’ll know I’m a big double-denim wearer. This denim jacket is cut beautifully, with deep front pockets, and could be worn alone or layered under a coat for winter. Dave loves a pattern and print jumper, so this Merino wool jumper with a subtle design would be a great spring-to-autumn piece. Embroidered shirts are everywhere this summer. We saw them creeping in last year, but now they’re fully on trend. This one is similar to an Abercrombie design I loved but at a better price point for an occasional wear piece. Finally, this ribbed cardigan caught my eye in-store the other week. I’ve since ordered it, and I think it will look great styled with a denim shirt and chinos for spring.

That brings us to the end of this Marks & Spencer love list. There were so many great finds across different departments, but they’re having such a strong season that it was hard to narrow it down. I definitely recommend popping into a store or browsing their website for a full look at the collection. In the meantime, if you enjoyed this, give it a like.
